This is a funny little video which I found quite humorous for one very good reason – it reminded me of myself!
Worry. Worry. Worry.
I think in many ways it’s a human condition – the mind naturally goes into worry.
For instance, here are some of the worries which I think most business owners go through on a daily basis…
We worry about money.
We worry about getting enough clients.
We worry about getting too many clients.
We worry about whether we can handle the work.
We worry about whether we can afford to invest in marketing.
We worry about what will happen if we don’t invest in marketing.
We worry about whether we are spending enough time with our family.
We worry about whether we are spending enough time to grow our business.
The list goes on – truth is, we will always have something to worry about if we let our mind take over.
My advice: watch your worries, but don’t take them personally.
See them as the mind’s natural wanderings.
Of course, we shouldn’t ignore them – if they are important, we should do something about them.
But worrying won’t make your worries go away.
Only action will.
And if you’ve taken the action you need to, then let go of the worries.
One of the best questions to ask in order to do this is:
What’s the worst thing that can happen… the worst case scenario if what
I am worrying about comes true?
That question clears the mind marvellously…
… because you very quickly discover that whatever you are worrying about – you’ll be able to handle.
And with this in mind, then you can take some action to make sure it doesn’t happen, just like these people did.

It was nice to have 5 days off over Easter. I always find taking time off from the normal hustle-n-bustle of everyday life gives me some perspective.
I get to catch up with family, spend time with my son and focus on what’s really important.
Interestingly enough, I was reading a book the other day about the secret behind centenarians, in a book called The Blue Zones, and they found one of the most important things you can do to live longer and look after your health is to have a good community around you.
So events like Easter are really good for our health. And considering that (according to the Centre for Disease Control) 85% of illnesses are caused by stress, the 5 days off doesn’t hurt either.
The time off gave me time to reflect on the importance of gaining leverage – because essentially if we can get more leverage while we are in our business, we can achieve more in a shorter space of time and live a more balanced life.
One of the strategies which has allowed us to gain some leverage over recent years and levelled the playing field is the internet, providing you can avoid some of the hidden dangers. Now most people try to overcomplicate internet marketing.
But it really all boils down to two things.
Think of a car.
How would a car work with an engine and no wheels?
Not very well, right?
How about if it had wheels and no engine?
Same case again, right?
You’re not going to go far in any case.
Now when it comes to the internet, think of conversion as the wheels and traffic as the engine.
After all, making the dollars roll in online really just boils down into getting traffic to visit your site and converting that traffic into dollars.
