Recently I read a book by Marcus Sheridan – and it’s one of those facts I
always refer back to.
He talks about how the average conversion rate for someone buying a
swimming pool in the industry is 10%.
But when someone had read 30 or more pieces of content it was 80%.
Yes, that’s 8x the conversion rate.
One word: trust.
Everything in sales is about trust.
And that’s why you should try to put ‘content’ in every aspect of the sales
1. Online to collect new leads.
2. After a subscriber is generated to build trust… to turn them into a lead.
3. After an inquiry is made, to build trust… to turn them into a sale.
4. After a sale is made… to generate more referrals.
Problem is, most business owners don’t have time to create content.
