Gratitude – the #1 Way to Start Your Day

I’ve been hearing it for years.

And the hit video, The Secret, which took the world by storm reinforced it a few years ago.

The best way to start your day is with gratitude.

But let’s face it…

Most of us don’t.

We stumble out of bed and go through our routines, often wishing we could go back to bed because we feel so tired.

And even though it might be the best way to start your day, gratitude becomes a past thought.

Here’s the thing:

I really do believe what we focus on creates our results in the world.

If we complain about people being mean, we get more meanness.

If we complain about not having money, that becomes our reality.

You get the picture.

So if we focus on what we are grateful for, we should more attract more of that.

Plus, it just feels damn good.

But here’s the problem.

Just thinking of what you are grateful for doesn’t quite crack it.

It becomes a bit mechanical.

I am grateful for my job. I am grateful for my parents. I am grateful for being able to breathe.

Lah de dah de dah…

But we all have someone we love, whether it’s a child, a parent, a friend or a partner.

So think of that person now…

As you listen to the words on this video.

And see if it doesn’t bring a tear to your eye.

One thing’s for sure…

If you can do this and get in the right “head space” before your day starts, it will make you so much more productive.

And you’ll be far more likely to implement all the marketing ideas you can find here

80% of success is in your head.

Never forget that.
