Years ago, I worked with a very aggressive marketer.
He threw $40,000 at a magazine ad.
It didn’t work.
He lost everything.
That’s the exact opposite of what you should do.
Try doing this instead.
Run 10 advertisements on Facebook. Put a small budget towards it. See if it works. Make sure you
have a backup funnel as well.
Do the same with Google Adwords. Throw a few hundred dollars at that, after generating a campaign,
and roll that out.
Then do the same with direct mail. Identify your target market. Hone in on them. And send some
letters out. Follow them up with a phone call.
Same with Linkedin. Same with direct mail. Get on the phone. Pick it up. Call your existing clients.
Ask for referrals.
Measure what works. Measure what doesn’t.
Drop what doesn’t and double down on the winners.
Adapt. Adapt. Adapt.
And remember, if you’re taking little bets you only need one winner to pay for all the losers.
