I’ve been reading this book recently by Mel Robbins called the
5 Second Rule.

Here’s the theory behind it:

Our minds like comfortable. We act on feelings. So when we know
we should get up off the couch and go to bed, instead of sitting there
gobbling down chocolate…

We don’t.

The 5 second rule is designed around, whenever we know we should
do something but don’t…

Do the countdown…

5… 4… 3… 2… 1… Do it!

I’ve been testing it on myself lately, and it works a treat.

Try it for yourself – when you need to exercise, when you need to get
up without hitting the snooze button, when you need to get off
